A Life Shaped by Transition
I’ve lived many of the transitions my clients are facing — not the same stories, but the same questions of identity, purpose, and what comes next. I immigrated from Trinidad and Tobago with a deep belief in education, hard work, and opportunity. Those values carried me through Columbia Law School, Big Law, and executive leadership in the Big Four.
Reinvention Is Personal
One of my most meaningful transitions came when I stepped away from my career to raise my three sons before returning to executive leadership. That experience reshaped my understanding of identity, ambition, and purpose.
Like many high-performing professionals, I had reached a point where the external success I had built no longer reflected who I was becoming. Beneath the surface quieter questions emerged: Is this success still mine? What now? Who am I becoming?
How My Experience Shapes My Coaching:
Those questions became the beginning of a deeper journey into reflection, personal growth, and ultimately into coaching, positive psychology, and a deeper commitment to helping others navigate their own evolution.
Selins Coaching & Consulting was shaped by my own experiences navigating transition and nearly three decades of advising leaders through complex, high-performance environments. The Selins Framework™ emerged from this lived journey. I combine executive and legal expertise with a human-centered coaching approach to help professionals pause, reflect, ask better questions, and create meaningful change aligned with what matters most.

Transformation begins by creating space to ask more honest questions.
